A CHOCOLATE BOX

It was unusual.Not something that you'll can expect for.Naturally who would think something like this would happen?

Advice, not sure whether they follow or no,people will love to give one or so.I am sure each one of us heard as many, right from school age.It gives you some pretty satisfaction when you say it rather following.I knew how it feels,becuase I've done it.

What makes me write today,is how one such advice came true in my life.

Ever since childhood,I was so excited for birthday's.Probably one of those days where you'll get all the attention in world.People will make you feel special, for the only reason you were born.Celebrations around gifts,some lovely pictures to feel the day until the next one.This is exactly how it sounds. Who would not like this?I have enjoyed it totally.Every time it would  end in seconds after which rest of the days in a year would feel like years to me.In between life happens,thinking that every birthday is different.As you grow up,you'll understand what it takes to become one to actually celebrate your special day.When I was 10,my dad wrote a piece of advice on top of my gift box.It goes,"Just like your birthday, life won't remain the same as you expect".Like any other 10 year old, I was keen on my gift rather on the note.Apparently ,it did strike me after my 21st birthday. 

Far away from the family, new place,new house specifically 2bhk with only two people in it.

The day before my bday,  was pretty normal bcoz one generally thinks not-so-suprise plans would be done  expecting  that bday girl/boy wouldn't know.There was nothing like that sort bcoz only friend in the house who doesn't know my date of birth.We slept around 10:30pm.Exactly one and half hour later ,I got a call  wishing happy bday.That is exactly when my fellow roommate finds out.Unusual but it happens.But they say, Life is full of suprises and miracles.I woke up early the next morning bcoz of the obvious reasons of going to temple.Got ready, put on my mum's dress yes you heard me right, my mum's dress(beauty comes in same sizes too..)On my way back home,  I could see a  bday brunch  ready on table.It was all her who fed me with the amazing foood.This was a real suprise, when she cooked for me I really felt special.On this note celebration is must.How are we going to celebrate this day honey?,She asked.

The next 20 min was a suprise to her.

This time calls for home made happiness with outsiders.

We went around with a chocolate box in hand to celebrate the day.

#We went to the same shopkeeper where we bought,offered him a chocolate.He looked at us for few seconds ,later with a bright smile on his face,wished happy bday taking a chocolate from the box.

How happy he was on receiving a chocolate from a complete stranger?

#There was another shop just beside the first one.Of the two neighbours,you should give to both.Good manners taught in school comes handy.As decided I gave him a chocolate in return he suprised me with  2 apples bcoz it was a fruit shop. He happily said ,"God bless you dear", patting  my head.

# Moving on, a vegetable shop owned by two brother's who were extremly welcoming and loving received us with a bright smile and warmth.When I opened the box ,they already knew it was my birthday he asked me ,can I take two more for my wife and son? Trust me ,one can sense the joy of happiness in him just like a little boy  when I said, Yes!

# A young couple who were probably in their 60's owned a fruit shop nearby.They were truly the epitome of love and affection. When I said it was my birthday the whole family turned up to wish & bless me.They made me feel just like a grand daughter of the family. 

How happy he was on receving a chocolate from a complete stranger?

I was in no words to express how happy and special it was.Who would get to experience this, sought of real emotions in an entirely new place.I could  sense the joy of happiness in people for what they get unexpected.  The amount of satisfaction you get after all , is inevitable.

I was given with two options,either to be in home thinking that I had no one  to celebrate (or ) go around and celebrate with those who can make your day special despite of the fact we are'll strangers.

The same goes with life,when you are provided with options you'll have to choose unusual to make best out of it to stand in life.There is happiness in unexpected amounts.

Trust me the choice you make will be different ,yet worth taking.There is no way better to say this.
